Weather favors transplants in Eastern N.C.

A good crop of plants is growing in eastern North Carolina, thanks to very favorable weather. “We had warm weather when we were seeding and had many good seeding days,” says Brent Leggett, flue-cured grower in Nashville, N.C. (below). "Since then, there were just a few days with clouds. Most days the weather was very cooperative.”
